GERUND ( Verb + ING )
A gerund always follows these verbs:
My teacher said it DEAD (Dislike Enjoy Avoid Don’t mind)
Examples : I dislike spending money too much ( because I will broke haha )
I enjoy singing at my bathroom ( it makes me happy)
I avoid talking on the phone ( again..it will make me broke )
I don’t mind waiting for my boyfriend ( because he is special )
A gerund is often the object of a preposition
Examples : I am interested in studying English.
An infinitive or gerund can follow these verbs :
I like going / to go to places where I have to use my English.
I love watching/ to watch movies with my friends.
I hate going/to go to big parties because I am shy.
I cant stand waiting/to stay for my wedding day
